Volunteer Donation Page

IMPORTANT: Please read the following information and click the link below to download and fill out the donation form.

Items that can be Donated:

Religious Representatives may deliver or provide religious books, pamphlets, tracts, or other related reading materials directly to the inmate and/or group of inmates during the religious service times that they are schedule. All religious reading materials will be paper back or soft back. The religious representatives may bring no more that (20) of each type of Religious reading materials, depending on the number of inmates, they expect to see. All other quantities, items and Religious materials will be delivered to the Chaplain during the day watch for review and distribution to the inmates. All items must be search by Corrections' staff or designee at the front desk or in a designated area before they are delivered to the inmates.

Donations will be accepted:

The last Wednesday and Thursday of each month from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

No more than one (1) month's supply of materials can be donated if they are to be taken up with the volunteers to the services. There is no limit on items not going up with volunteers, just bring donations during designated delivery times.

All donated items MUST be searched by the Mail Room Operator and approved by the Chaplain.

Once searched the Shift Supervisor, must sign, the Donation Receipt in the appropriate section and log the date and time of the search.

Items approved will be placed on the shelves behind the front counter.

Each Religious organization MUST provide a laminated 8 ½ x 11 sheet of color paper with their name on it for each container they store Religious materials at the Atlanta City Detention Center .

When reporting for services, an officer will get the items for you. Sermon or lesson notes for inmates can be brought the day of service. There can be no more than five (5) sheets of paper. NO STAPLES

ALL ITEMS MUST BE SEARCHED.
